@Andiz: Simply ramp up the damage ratio on the sniper rifles of your choice in the bioweapon.ini. OR set the “Intel” finds having the damage factor unreasonably high.
Example, using Glyph’s Intel upgrade station, and when choosing to increase a weapon damage using weapon damage specific intel choices, you normally are allowed +5% increase. Change the setting in the file from 0.05 to so something like 50.00 which equates to a 5000% increase in damage. Go to biogame.inisxfgamesfxpawnplayer, then click on “permanentgameeffects” and you’ll see these figures. Pls help me I installed Me3 and when I try to open coalesced.bin the window appear containing (unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click to continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Hey Monochrome:First and foremost, THANK YOU for taking the time to create such a handy utility!
The only issue I’ve noticed is that version 1.2 MAY not be completely compatible with DLC.bin files, specifically the DefaultDLCHENPR.bin file, which is part of the Default.sfar file ( From Ashes DLC ). I’m able to open, edit, and save the aforementioned.bin file using your utility, but when I repack the modified.bin into the Default.sfar file, EA’s servers refuse to recognize the DLC. I’m not a programmer, so this is way out of my area of expertise. Have you heard about this issue before? I’m trying to modify the ME2 romance options for my ME3 save.On my 1st play through I played with Femshep, with an ME2 save imported from MassEffect2Saves.com (because I originally played ME1&2 on my Xbox, while I’m playing ME3 on my PC). The romance options were Liara (me1) and Garrus (me2) because that mirrored my actual selection. After completing my first playthrough I decided for my second playthrough for Shep to be a dude.
Using Gibbed’s Save game editor I created a new career from my FemShep save, then altered the gender. Everything seemed fine.Semi-SpoilerThen, once Garrus rejoins the team and I talk with him on the Normandy, Shep’s dialog goes silent with subtitles from FemShep, and Garrus’ dialog is identical for the FemShep romance-reunion-breakup.Semi-Spoiler-EndWhat can I do to change this? Gibbed doesn’t seem to delve that deep, and after checking out their FAQ page I was directed to.
Discussing A Little coalesced guide. On Mass Effect 3 PC message board and forum (page 1). This goes for all the NumPad entries you use in coalesced editor. With 'commands' to use in coalesced here is the link for mass effect 2 Link here is the link for mass effect 3 Link. So I was wondering if anyone knew just how to decode the coalesced.ini file (so I can read it) and then re-encode it. When I try to open it with a text editor (Notepad), I get coded gibberish that I have no idea what to do with.
There’s a line of code in the Coalesced that references the romance with Garrus, but I’m not sure if it’s a universal setting because it doesn’t seem to differ from the other character entries in terms of a true or false setting for my Shep.GarrusRomanced, PlotIDSet=(5207), PlotIDClear=, PlotInts=((ID=270,V=5)),PlotCond=((C=233,T=780),(C=231,T=779))Any thoughts? Believe it or not I’m not going to progress my DudeShep beyond this point because I don’t want Garrus getting any ideas.
If you can’t open the coalesed.bin, you maybe haven’t upgrade your framework.net to 4.0. Upgrade your framework4.0, and then right click to bring the file properties to uncheck read only file coalesed.bin in the folder /biogame/cookedPCconsole and then apply or ok. I was having the same error for the first time. Some said that I have to run admin to get the editor software to open. And I did all that.
I don’t know which one it works but it works. (sigh)And where do I find player health and shield hitpoints in coalesed.bin? And what can I edit to change weapon like argus, mattock, valkrye to burst like automatic fire revenant? How to put additional biotic skills on Normandy Med Bay?
(I wish there are more like Slam, Throw, Singularity although I choose to become Soldier)Thanks before.

A lot of game tweaks are possible for the PC version of Mass Effect 3, both in terms of graphics and 'cheats', and can be done by editing Coalesced.bin. Most of the results you find when you Google for how to do a tweak or cheat will tell you which ini file and variable to change, but not exactly HOW to do that.Warning before you start: I do not recommend using any 'cheats' or a modified Coalesced.bin file if you are going to play multiplayer. You may end up banned. See.The coalesced.bin file is basically a collection of variables that the game uses to determine different things, from graphical effects to key bindings to things like shield recharge rates. You can affect the game in fairly signficant ways by modifying this file. To do so, you'll want to grab the ME3 Coalesced Utility. ME3 Coalesced Utility?
What? It's a tool that unpacks the.bin file so that you can edit it, and then repacks it when you save. There are many ways you can do this, but this is the easiest to use tool that I've found. So where is coalesced.bin?. Its in your Mass Effect 3 install directory, under BIOGameCookedPCConsole.Err. Where's my Mass Effect 3 install directory?.Okay, I've got those. Now what?.

Make a backup (i.e., copy and paste somewhere) of your Coalesced.bin file first. You'll want this as a backup in case something goes wrong, and also so you can swap back to it if you're going to play multiplayer. Run the tool.
Go to File-Open. Select the Coalesced.bin file discussed above. You should get a screen that looks like this:Okay, I'm ready! What settings can I tweak?Way more than I'm going to go into. If you want to know if something specific is possible, either Google for it or post a question and ask.One common usage will probably be to bind keys to commands so that you can manually trigger them in-game. For example, this is how the current answer about does it. You smack a numpad key and it changes your FOV.
A good place to find more information and tips on tweaking the game and unlocking all weapons, armor. Is at masseffect wiki. Under guides there is a section for.

They have the information where to go and copy and paste the coding to unlock all weapons. Than you hit whatever key you bind it to and you get them all.Under the section I also have guides to increase scanning radius, speed up the scanning on planets. Also to make the red circle on items you can pick up appear from further away, because in ME3 you have to be on top of an item to see the red circle and is easy to miss some weapons and armor on your first play through because of it.
