Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines Windows 7
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is a 2004 action role-playing video game developed by Troika Games and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows.Set in White Wolf Publishing's World of Darkness, the game is based on White Wolf's role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade and follows either a male or female character who is killed and subsequently revived as a fledgling vampire.
Vampire: Bloodlines is based on White Wolf's popular pen and paper RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade. The beginning of the game puts you in the role of a newly created vampire, adrift in a time of chaos for the undead population of Los Angeles. Very faithful to the original system upon which it was based, you'll have a character sheet that looks very similar to the original book version, and you'll use various special powers, called disciplines, to dispense your particular brand of punishment. With seven different basic character choices, the first true strength of Vampire is the differentiation of gameplay each character will face., as disgusting to look at as the vampire from the silent film of the same name, are bound by the rule of stealth.

Since their appearance can give away the existence of vampires, you must stealth your way through the game, rather than being able to walk through the streets normally. Brujah, young punk anarchists of the vampire world, can generally beat their way through any challenge, and the Ventrue, power brokers par excellence, can not only talk their way through nearly any situation enforcing their will with the powerful mental discipline, Dominate. Four more clans are available for your choosing, with even more gameplay options available therein. Say what you will about the storyline, but there are usually many different ways to solve most of the game's quests, allowing you to play whatever character you'd like.
Vampire's largest flaws are in its graphics. While developed with the engine, many of the character models can look very poor in some of the more strangely lit locales in the game. Additionally, there's very little in the way of actual freedom to move through the city, as at all times you're essentially stuck in four different zones that are mere postage stamps compared to other titles.
Still, with the chance to play a myriad of characters in many different ways, this is my favorite RPG of the year.
Vampire The Masquerade 5th Edition
Okay i have been trying to get this game to work for 4 days. I have tried absolutely everything. I have installed patch 1.2 and the unofficial patch. Tried over a dozen nvidia drivers, tried all the compatibility modes.ran as administrator, tried running at 640x480, disabled desktop composition. Even tried a clean install of windows 7.
But i keep getting a vampire.exe has stopped working just after the intro videos. Does anyone here have this game installed and working on windows 7? If so can you tell me how you got it working or did it work without any hassle? It seems i will need to install XP if i can't get it working any other way.Cheers.
When you installed the unofficial patch, did you uncheck anything? There's patches for widescreen, 64-bit CPU/OS and other cool things. Make sure you select them and install them from the Extras (iirc) folder.
The ReadMe file is there for a reason.Might want to make sure you got the Unofficial Patch from a trusted source as well. There was one floating around that was all messed up because people decided to take the package and add their own crap in it. The one from WESP and tessmage should be the ones you need, plus the official patch.is NSFW, so be careful.
